  • Dr.
    Cassandra Conry
    DC

As the daughter of a chiropractor, Dr. Conry learned to have faith in the ability of the body to heal itself. She received her first adjustment the day after she was born and has continued to utilize chiropractic care throughout her life as her primary source of healthcare. Dr. Conry has always had a passion for working with children, and having the opportunity to positively impact pregnant women and children on their wellness journey has been a dream come true.

“I am very passionate about spreading the word to parents about the importance of spinal health to developing children, and it starts in the womb. Birth can be a very traumatic event for all involved, and even mild spinal trauma can cause nerve interference and cranial distortion which can impact proper growth and development. My kids received their first adjustments right after birth. They each had a misalignment in their upper cervical spine that was gently and easily corrected. Making the correction at this age allows for greater spinal health from that moment on. Expectant and new mothers put a tremendous amount of stress on their spine. I received prenatal and perinatal chiropractic care that allowed me to have two natural home births that I cherish. Weight gain, the opening and closing of the pelvis during vaginal birth, altered posture, and inconsistent sleep patterns can have an effect on spinal health. With regular chiropractic adjustments, health is improved and moms can get back to being Superwoman!” – Dr. Conry

Dr. Conry is a 2013 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degrees. She is experienced in a variety of techniques including Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Cranial Release Technique. She has additional training in adjustment modification for infants and children including a certification in Pediatric Sacral Occipital Technique(SOT). She is also certified in Webster’s Technique which has shown to benefit women during pregnancy.  Dr. Conry works closely several midwives, obstetricians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants in the area to provide necessary support to mom and baby.

    Jennifer McConnell
    D.C.

Dr. Jennifer McConnell was raised in the small midwestern town of Shelby, Iowa. Jennifer was exposed to Chiropractic at an early age, receiving her first adjustment at just 2 months old.  With several family members being a part of the profession, including her father, Dr. Schumacher, Jennifer grew up with a strong Chiropractic philosophy.  She has continued to live by this philosophy in her adult life, taking a holistic approach when it comes to staying healthy and fighting off disease.  Prior to attending Palmer College, Jennifer worked for Eastman Chemical Company as a corporate wellness consultant.  It was there that she began to develop a passion for helping others, which lead to the next step in her career.

Jennifer graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2018, with Magna Cum Laud honors and earned a Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degree.  She has also received a BA in Health and Wellness from Graceland University.  In her off time, she is busy keeping after her two beautiful children, Liam(3) and Everly(0), and enjoying time with her husband, Brad.

Utilizing chiropractic care during her pregnancies and with her children has made her passionate about encouraging care for all ages! Jennifer treats the entire spine and is proficient in Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, and Toggle Techniques. She is also a skilled extremity adjuster. She is Webster's Certified and happy to support expecting mommas.  Her mission is to provide Chiropractic care to as many families in the community as possible, so that they reap the benefits that Chiropractic has to offer.
